Onboarding

To onboard onto Axon, you have to either create a new team or join an existing team after signing up.

Signing up

First, sign up as a user. Head to the developer portal and register a new account. You must use your government email, or, if you are a vendor, your work email.

Note

The developer portal is only available via intranet access.

Verify your email by clicking the magic link in your inbox. Check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive the email.

Congratulations! You have created your Axon account, which can be used across all of Axon's services.

Creating a new team

Warning

The ability to create new teams is currently restricted to certain users while we work to enhance the onboarding of Axon. If you wish to onboard and are unable to create a new team, find someone within your agency that is allowed to create new teams or request to join an existing team.

Head to the developer portal and login using your Axon account. On the left sidebar, click on Teams, then Create new team.

Join an existing team

Head to the developer portal and login using your Axon account. On the left sidebar, click on Teams, then search for the existing team's name. Click the team, then click Request to join.

If the team's admins approve your request, you can now view your team's details in the same page.
